Wir bitten Sie um Verständnis - wir sind gerade dabei, diese Seite ins Deutsche zu übersetzen Description The campsite lies in a little valley next to Tiras mountains. It has a spectacular view to the North over farm Kanaan. It is very private and peaceful. The Tiras mountain is very inviting to be climbed and offers spectacular views on the dunes and even a quivertree forest if you want to walk and climb so far. The vegitation and geology of the area is impressive for people interested in that. Take note: This campsite is not for people afarid of wide open spaces. Facilities is limited to a warm water shower, toilet and hand basin. A small field kitchenette limited to a basin and a fireplace on the ground and a verandah agains the elements is the only buildings of wood and stone next to a huge fallen Rock. Own camping tables and chairs adviseble... Drinking Water Water is very limited as it is transported 14 km from the farm house and is drinkable - however not advisable for drinking purposes. Bottled water is available apon request and drinking water at the farm house available to put in your own containers. Fencing and Security No Fencing around the campsite - And no Security as the nearest neighbour is only 20km away... Anyway the only things that can happen is that a hyena or leopard can have you as a snack. There are also snakes like Mamba according to legend but I never saw one. There are also very hary and scary spiders and scorpions. And the nearest docter is only 400 km away. Welcome to Africa... and Africa is not for sissies!!! I personally never new or heard of anyone that died in this area of any one of this causes. You shuld be more afraid of your transportation to here as most people tend to drive too fast on this gravel roads.... Arrivals not earlier than 14h00 on the date of arrival and departures not later than 10h00 on depature date. Rates N$ 300- for the campsite per Day PLUS N$ 100- per person per Day. Children under age 12 N$ 50- BOOKING ESSENTIAL for fresh water supplly and clean facilities.
ONLY a maximum of 6 Adults allowed for this facilities. Not more than 10 Adults and children per site.
PLEASE NOTE that this is NOT a mass tourism facility! This campsite is only for people hat want something special from nature and that wants to entertain themselves in Nature.
